I been busy lately trying to setup my PC with a 32"LCD and a 20"LCD monitors the DPI was screwed up I wanted a total of 3360X1080 but it was not working out finally I will have to settle on a total of 2880x1076 that's both running at just 1360x768

I got 7 installed to the main disk but I seldom use it - nothing other than personal preference - Old Superball has come back fighting and I'm expecting 8 to be Gr8 :]

I still use windows for most of my gaming, I am waiting patiently for left4dead 1&2 to come out for Mac and steam to come out for Linux.

ah I used to do games back in the day like space invaders, pac man, space firebird, well everything back then but not anymore - I heard of left for dead though... Call of Duty - Maddens - all that stuff is phenomenal.

It has come a long way since Atari and Nintendo's NES I started as a console person too but back then they came out with something new every year that's what drove me to PC games new stuff just means a minor upgrade and your good to go.
I have had over the years a Atari clone called Coleco Gemini then it was the Nes then super Nes and Sega ms and Sega genesis,Nintendo gameboy,Sega satern,Nintendo 64 and at that point after THE PS1 I said enough I AM going to PC and after playing halflife and quake II I never looked back.
"BUT" It seems like PS3 and Xbox are stable and will be around for a long time.

I know how that is we - Girl and I saved for quite a while, then recently my old box started giving signs of Hard Disk death so that was that - She bought me it I'd have never shelled out for it.... But the reason I wanted to try it out is that a while back a japanese guy can't recall his name right now but he works full time as a digital artist studio based in L.A.( with his family ).He does incredible stuff and his work has been on the cover of well everything in the field... but he swore by his mac hardware - so I listened and read similar tales all over the net for 2 years - that was me hooked.

I know all to well how loyal people are to Macs in the arts community, from Dr. Dre to Scott Kelby and every one in between. I also believe that they earned that loyalty all the way. I think the fact that Apple ties its software to a predetermined hardware configuration gives them a Competitive edge and there products should therefore be better than PC's. I have also thought that given their more consistent hardware specs, a Mac might be a good Linux box, but that is only a theory I have. How is Ubuntu working for you?

RE Ubu I installed W7 to the HD and Ubu via parallels as nobody else seemed to have a surefire method with my model but having said that Parallels is everything that virtual technology should be - completely seamless integration all hardware works and it's fast too.
For the type of open source stuff I tend use it's perfect. :]
