Thanks bud got a new imac fruitbox bootcamping win7 both 64bit will get round to installing linux too once I get some time clear to work on it... :]

Thanks G I got the 27 with the i7 processor enjoying all but sort of intimidated by the linux install what with Osx being new to me and the whole refit procedure being alien... but no matter- will prevail :}

You will love the power of the i7 my Gateway FX has the i7 920 and its fast when I use it mostly I use my Macbook pro.

Hey Cecil, I have tried Sabayon and it seems to run better than Ubuntu (Gentoo is more stable than Debian) especially with audio and emerald engine. I need to put together another machine for Linux, I have had enough of different OS sharing the same machine

I tried arch a while back net install etc the guide on their site is extensively detailed. It was fast and furious but it takes a little while to compile your dream rig but I found you learn real quick with it through necessity.
