PLEASE DO NOT USE WITHOUT PERMISSION OR DISTRIBUTE ELSEWHERE, thank you~ahh the flaws. the many, many MANY FLAWS. like that awkwardly tube-sock shaped muzzle and the fur that doesn't move fluidly at all and the wobbly horizon line... shame. shame everywhere.
I'm definitely going to redo this sometime.
but complaints aside, I'm kinda happy with the shading and stuff. I learned that chalk paper can work with acrylics if you don't get it too wet. pretty neat stuff. and I like the snows

Honestly, if you hadn't mentioned the flaws that [no doubt] are glaring to you, I wouldn't have noticed them! Β
Anyway, the technique [acrylics on chalk paper] has a very cool glowing quality in this night scene! Β That snow, as you point out, really does look right, and I feel a chill as if it is winter here [it most assuredly is not, atm

as do I x.x Β I've always wondered how people who do watercolors Β paints and pastels and whatnot can just splash a bit of blue or purple or grey, and suddenly a whole field looks like it went from paper to snow. -envious- Β but I find acrylic is at least a little easier to get the snowy look with :>Β
