Description
Frieda and Zephyr are my two most favorite characters from Silverwing (book and cartoon version).

Despite the fact that some people hate/dislike the cartoon version of Silverwing, I can't help but have a place for it in my heart.
It's what got me interested in the books in the first place.

Anyways, I'll admit that the books are better, but there was only so much that the creators of the series could do without traumatizing young children with some of the events in the book.

I decided to draw Frieda and Zephyr having a conversation with each other because I feel that if they had the chance to, they would have long, interesting conversations.

For those of you who don't know about these characters, Frieda is the leader of the Silverwing colony and is a very wise elder. Frieda insists to protect Shade (the main character of the book/series) from the owls despite the fact that he had broken the law of bats never being able to look at the sun/be out during the day.

Now as for Zephyr, he's a lone, albino bat who lives in a Cathedral of a human city. Despite being extremely blind compared to other bats, he's able to "see" what's going on around him and can see the future. He also helps and trains Shade to echo project.

I highly recommend reading the books, especially if you love bats.

Or you can be like me and watch the show first then read the books. XD It makes you hate it less.
