Hulk and the Wasp did meet in Avengers #1. It was the Hulk's first app. since his own, original, series ended with issue #6. In that issue,Banner had decided to stop using the gamma ray and retire the Hulk -permanently *. Yet in Avengers #1 Hulk is running wild and, at one point, Wasp enters his ear to distract,annoy and confuse him, He almost killed her ,but AntMan collapsed the earth under Hulk's feet. He was a charter member of the Avengers, but in #2 quit ,having decided that the other members hated and feared him. For some issues after that, he and they had a chaotic non-stop fight, Hulk now thuggish and murderous again !
* The changes were getting more painful each time, the Hulk's personality was getting less and less like Banner;s, and there were alarming mistakes made by the gamma ray. Also he was tired of being hunted by soldiers every time he became the Hulk to fight a menace.

Heh, very amusing. I could see this happening. It seems like Janet is the only one Hulk tolerates/likes out of the team. She's the only one that didn't treat him as a monster, and actually joked with him.
I still laugh at the park Janet winks at Hulk before making making faces at him LOL! I think it was his fondness of her and that reason he left after hurting her while he was under the Enchantress' spell.
