I absolutely crave the clouds and rain in this piece since we haven't seen rain like this in over a year.
I've always loved a dark, stormy day because it begins with an adrenalin rush and settles down to a peaceful calm while I sit down to relax with a book or with my watercolors. This piece captures the excitement that occurs right before the clouds break.
