urgThis picture had been nipping and bugging me to finish it. It must have went through about 3 different versions (yep I colored it 3 different times)
Painter 9 about 6-7 hours (longer than I EVER want to spend on an image)

i really like the theme, though i can't quite tell what it is.. just the idea that a dragon is in control of something, and man must submit before it is cool. as before, i like the little bitty wings : ). and let me close with how awesome that rock wall is, i'm not even joking - as far as walls go, that is awesome. great job with the lighting and color.

bah, you suck... 6 to 7 hours was more than you ever want to spend on a piece? i spend twice that long just getting a sketch the way i want it to look. blah, stupid artists.. lol. you know, i just realized what i did with your gallery.. you're one of those people that are so good, i tell myself: "you would 'fav' everything they've done, so why bother?" but the truth is, i should go through and do it individually. helps promote you, plus - it'll give me a chance to check out your stuff again : ).

Funny?!? hmm hehe ok, I just lose interest fast in a piece. So 7 hours is amazing for me to get things done! Besides you say a sketch takes you a long time? Hehe well the line art to this was a collective jumble of sketches (done over the period of a week) all merged in a day!

Yeah I don't usually take too long on sketches, but this one had crazy detail in the lineart, so yeah it almost didn't make it for coloring. ;>

beautiful, delicate, intricat, fanciful. I love it for all that. The dragon is a very original design, even if it is semi-copied from a button. Makes me think of last unicorn, or puff the magic dragon....

I love this a lot, it has a very tender fairytale story to it. That makes me feel like there is hope to open those gates by giving a gentle dragon a shiny apple

... Wow. I haven't seen something digital this impressive in a while oO Especially the iridescence. I think I love that more than anything else, the little bead spots that feel like you could touch them and the tiny wings that glimmer like... I don't know, but they're just beautiful. The tiny touches of red in the butterflies ballance out all the crystal tones wonderfully.
