So filled with life, yet peaceful. The water effect is really well done. Love the shimmering changes of speed and direction.

What a nice scene, it feels so much more alive.
I guess if you wanna animate characters over the effects, you could keep 'em separate on their own layers and rig them and then move them however you like? There's a few tools out there that should make it pretty easy, I think.
