Description
I tried to portrait the feeling I have when having some special kind of dreams, where everything is deeply dark, and by looking at the sky, itlooks devastating big, menacing but inviting. And makes me want to say "bye" and go; release myself to that friendly fear which nullifies all my limits.Β
I have the same sensation, when being far from civilization, walking during the night in our southern silent forests. Fears are present but after many minutes, it becomes friendly.Β

This is a masterpiece!Β I love the "shadow" of the white figure in the sky. It adds so much mystery, atmosphere, and unease to the piece. It makes it feel like they are something ancient and unfathomably alien to usΒ

I feel this has spiritual meaning, like if the two figures are God, the smaller a more personable "Echo" of how terrifyingly vast and incomprehensible he/she/they/its actual existence is.
PS - it must be nice having a forest you can walk in at night, and not get lost. I understand this feeling, once I was lost in the woods at night, and while it was scary, there was a weird serenity to it, like I would have loved to be there without worry. To tell the truth, I would have simply sat under a tree out of the rain and waited until dawn, if there wasn't a fox yapping I was in their territory, a signal I'm sure 99% of modern humans wouldn't understand.

I thought the same about both figures.
Oh right, anyway to get lost in a forest it is also attractive.

You know, I get the uncanniness of the white figure standing in the water. But was the uncanniness in the STARS intentional? Because that feels creepier.

Indeed, fears will always be with us. They can be helping, or hindering us. But sometimes, fears can lead us to something completely unexpecting. And it always will motivating us, to accepting and maybe overcoming it one day. And its, what you picture is telling me, with the darkness around scaring us, yet also invite us with to move forward, with curiosityΒ and courage. Great work again!

That is an impressive figure that you have looming in the sky.Β Its very subtle, but very noticeable at the same time.Β I almost missed the figure standing in front of the trees down at the water.Β It's outline is far more prominent, but easier to miss than the vague shape in the sky.Β This is rather interesting and only a real artist can pull off such a brilliant contrast.

Wow. I have dreams like this too. You know, when everything is dark and monochromatic, and the only colors you see are the orange-yellow of streetlights, or a deep midnight blue sky in city or industrial area. Am I the only one that's had that?
Anyway, beautiful pic.

Thank you!Β It's hard to be conscious of colors during our dreams, I only remember them when I get mesmerized by them.
