After all the fun I had in May in Amsterdam when I was sketching things I saw around me, I decided to buy a Moleskine (my brother loves this brand and has talked to me so often about it that I wanted to try it myself) and start sketching whenever I have to wait a bit when I'm not at home...so here are the 4 first pages of my Moleskine:
top left: the Japanese Garden of a town in Switzerland (La Chaux-de-Fonds)... it's a very peaceful and agreeable spot in the middle of the city
top right: A mole... cartoon-ish style... I remembered "The Animals of Farthing Wood" while drawing this
... drew it while waiting in the hospital (nothing too bad, fortunately)... waiting is boring... especially for more than 5 hours... // a part of an old house... wanted to practice perspective there...bottom left: a random birdie I saw, and then a bit of childish fun: an elephant and a cow the way my Granny taught me to draw them when I was around 7... it was so funny
drawing this made me smile bottom right: a house, again in La Chaux-de-Fonds, near the Japanese Garden.... I was quite fascinated by the geometry of it...
