itΒ΄s pure fantasy -
turtle bone is different,
similarity is only superficial

Amazing that this is paper mache, its so well made. I thought it was clay. great work, really does look like a skeleton. A little creepy which makes me love it even more.

That's freakin' awesome! I would have never guessed it was paper mache! It's so smooth! It's like the Preditor's dreamcatcher!

I want to HUG your artwork.
and buy it
or trade for it
or just LOOK at it
a LOT.
Okay I'll be satisfied with looking- but don't sometimes things that are so perfectly beautiful make you want to... i dunno
swallow them.
make them a part of you because somehow they already are and its painful to see them out there trying to be separate.

Maybe it seems kind of strange someone takes reference to a comment
one has left years ago, possibly just driven by an impulse of a moment.
I found your comment recently by random and was immediately touched by
its intimacy, fine sense of humour, and tangibility.
Regarding this piece of work - my by far most faved one,got a DD and stuff - but
seeing it in collections labeled with "horror" or similar categories tends to increase my misanthropy and makes me even wanting to rant or forbid faving instead of saying " thank you " - funny, isnΒ΄t it ?
So I feel double thankful that there are some people out there like you,
having that kind of deep understanding or even affinity - OK,
so many words just to say " thank you ",and hope everything is fine with you.

Man, you're a giant, I stoped favouriting your jewellry, 'cause I feel like doing it for all of them... wouldn't look serious, but you photo work on shell is "rare" enough in your production for me to can resonably click it systematicly.
Finally, about my work, I put my stone shapping work in standby for a while, I really need more equipment, and returned to my grand love, shells, leather and special nylon in stead off animal tendron.
Palaeolithlicly your
jo

contrary to a previous comment, i think this is a good photograph.
i'm very impressed by how well you made papier mache work for you. and it's so...symmetrical. really great craftsmanship.

Thank You !
ItΒ΄s not really symmetrical, but it looks like.
Trying to work really symmetrical is a pain,
but our perception adds the rest of missing symmetry anyway,so i even donΒ΄t try to do.

No way! 50 centimeters? That must be huge in real life
I'm starting to remember the time when I was in 2nd grade, and did some paper mache in art class...it was a mess XD
Good job! I can never learn to master the techinuqe of paper mache-ing!

Wow...i actually thought it was a skeleton until i saw the discription
It's absolutely amazing! Such detail, hard work, and originality went into this piece and it earned a place in my heart It also makes me wonder what this "creature" (who looks like a turtle
hehe) would be like, and how it'd move! Haha you definetly got my imagination rolling
Oh and by the way, congrats on the Daily Dev!
