And now that last one for the day, and it's not an alteration of a previous design - this one's new!Might as well put this in context:
Early in 777's adventure, the bad guys' resident scientist: Yoxter planned to make a clone of 777 after taking her prisoner.
Standard evil stuff; but then in the process, he accidentally resurrects a demon long thought destroyed: the Shadow Queen! See, she had left a fragment of her life essence inside 777 (or Peach...) a long time ago - which Yoxter discovered, and subsequently used in the cloning process...
Slightly confused, Shadow Peach (as she's now known) decides to accept Yoxter's offer to work for his boss, Emperor - whom she finds oddly familiar...
The DarkTech Suit Yoxter has built for her doesn't have much technology; it acts more like a conduit to channel and amplify her powers, much like Eclipse's StarTech Suit. There is still basic stuff like strong armor protection (since she's now in a mortal body) and a communication system.

The whole Shadow Peach business was a bit dark for a Mario game. Still, I really like the idea for this.

Dark? What about that for a brief moment at the end of Galaxy - that everybody died? (or ceased to exist... and then reborn)

Yeah, that too. Pretty messed up for a Mario game...even Sonic has animals being used for robots.
