i swear this piece is the epitome of everything i rarely do in my art LOL;;;

ive actually been wanting to draw something with stars or the night sky but i didn't get to it all summer- and it couldn't really be done with my OC's ;u;. BUT THEN I WATCHED LAENIA.... AND SAW DIS CONTEST...
AND SAW HER OCS AND WAS LIKE THIS BE MY CALLINGGGGG
originally i wasn't going to draw all of them....but then idk what possessed me and made me want to draw them all LOL;;; i loved the designs too much
i really do admire laenia's style in how each character looks unique ;uuuuuu; i've been wanting to do something like that

ok enough about that LOL about whats going on here in this picture
so usually i associate stargazing with summer, and it turns out the best time to do it is in fact august ouo which is pretty much the last month of summer- thus thats why the title is what it is
i tried to show that scarlett and luka were BFFs and that Raissa and Darius were together <3 as well as that derek be the prick loner over there, Eos just chillin sitting down cuz hes too hipster, and vere just being vere LOL;;; in my head one way or another they decided to go stargazing...though i don't really have a great reason why they're on water other than that i really wanted to do a reflection of the night sky on water eve

SO i reallyyy hopee i didn't butcher ur OC's too much laenia
and i do hope u like it ;uuuuu;!
even if i don't win it was a pleasure to draw those OC's for sure vuvb~
and satisfy my craving for a night sky hue
