Day 6 of Dalek Week! WHOOP!Retracing with a pen and coloring this because I really like the
way it turned out.
Lilit, Alek and Deryn in Istanbul with Deryn feeling left out and lonely. I always got the vibe that
she was super obsessed with Alek and Lilit's relationship (for
a good reason, I guess) . It's been a while since I read
Behemoth, so forgive me for whatever inconsistencies there
are. Dialogue:
Lilit: Dylan's spying on us again isn't he?
Alek: ...and what do YOU think?
Deryn: What are they talking about?!
LAWLZ. Poor Deryn.
Mr. Scotty is the sole owner of these fabulous characters.
PS: And yes, Deryn IS holding the leg of a Clanker machine
for comfort and hiding. Though it doesn't seem to help much
with the latter. X)

I saw As You Like It this summer (one of Shakespeare's plays with a girl-as-guy scenario if you're not familiar) and there was a character named Phoebe that fell in love with Rosalind when she was a boy, and I just couldn't stop thinking of Behemoth....

haha, me too, I think. I could look it up. But I think mostly that I personally just don't like their costumes as much, so I draw alternate/inaccurate versions of their clothing XPP

Yeah, I think it also depends on your (to say it so snoot-ily)*hemhem* artistic interpretation of the characters. Or your style. It's just more fun to make it up as you go!
