Two of the Bat-Eared Fox kits together We did our best to capture them together, but they wouldn't really cooperate. Then, when you think you're going to focus on a sole kit, another one bombs the picture
Still, I like the focus-unfocus, front and back of the siblings And no matter which way you turn it, there are two babies in the picture and nothing beats an adorable baby animal

Species: Bat-Eared Fox (Grootoorvos of Lepelhond)

Latin name: Otocyon Megalotis

Originates from South Africa.

Current status: Least Concern

Did you know:

…The Bat-Eared Fox is predominantly monogamous.

…In contrast to other Canids, they have a reversal in parental roles, the males taking on the majority of parental care behavior.

…Some view Bat-Eared Foxes as an entirely different sort of species – the Otocyon – while others say it is in fact closely related to the true Foxes, of the genus Vulpes, and another group divides them into an outgroup which is not closely related to true Foxes at all.
