You'd think they spend all of their time sleeping or lazily lying around - but look, they get up at times too. And they're not even playing crazily, they're being quite calm.
Species: Southeast African, Transvaal or Kalahari Lion (Witte leeuw)
Latin name: Panthera Leo Krugeri syn. Panthera Leo Melanochaita
Originates from southern Africa, rangingfrom southern Namibia to southeastern Mozambique.
Did you know:
…Southeast African Lion are a subspecies of the African Lion.
…White Lions are a color mutation of Transvaal Lions. This is called leucism, and in Lions it only occurs in this particular subspecies.
