Fun fact: For a very long time I believed this particular species of duck were called "wood duck", only to find out they aren't. They're actually pacific black ducks. Thanks to whoever taught me the wrong thing. Jeez.Anyways, here's a male wood duck pacific black duck. This shot was taken at my local duck pond. I'm really glad I have a zoom lens because these guys will be as far away as possible if you don't have food to give them. :I
