Description Sabrica ran silently down the road. He ran his hand through his multi-coloured hair. Tears we're streaming down his face, he wiped them with his sleeve. His eyes were changing colour rapidly, his mixed emotions giving him a head ache. What had he done? He shook his head suddenly.
"They both deserved it" he said to himself, "They should never have done that!"
He ran straight home from there.

"Hey Rainbow, you seen your brother?" Came a shout from next to him. Sab froze.
"Uhhh, no" His eyes turned pink.
"Oh really?" His mum laughed, "Ok, fine. If you see him, tell him I'm looking for him, Ok?"
Sabrica nodded and ran upstairs. He threw himself onto his bed and screamed.

The next day, Sabby's mum was in hysterics. His brother hadn't come home last night, he wasn't answering his phone either.
"Sab, where did you see your brother last night?" She spat as he came downstairs.
"Uhhhh, he said he was gonna go to the train crossing, I have no idea why though."
She stared at his eyes, then shouted,
"Don't you dare lie to me! You know exactly why!" Her eyes turned a nasty shade of red, it's a pigment problem that runs in her family.
"I'll go to the crossing to have a look" Sab's father told them. As he left the house, a tearful woman was walking up their path.
"Joey didn't stay here last night, did he?" She asked. Joey was Sab's boyfriend.
"No, not that I know of. Sorry. I must dash, James has gone missing.
"WHAT????" Cried the woman, "So both of them are missing?"
"If I see him, I will let you know, Ok?"
The woman nodded. Sabrica smiled shyly.

When Sab's dad reached the railway, the first thing he noticed was a significant amount of blood. He dropped to he knees and picked up his son's mobile phone, a tear splashing onto it. He then saw Joey's horrified face, staring up at him. His body was limp, covered in blood. He called his wife, about his findings, then the police. They found James and took both bodies away. After a full investigation, it was classed 'Suicide.'

"You did what?" I asked him.
Sab had come round to my house after school, he told me he had something to tell me.
"I… He… They were in my back garden!" He cried.
"You killed them though, I thought you loved Joey!" I couldn't believe what I had just been told. Of course, I knew Sabby was unstable, but murder?
"I warned him. I told him, if he cheated on me, I'd put him in front of a train. It's not my fault he took it as joking." He was quiet suddenly calm again. His eyes went a pale shade of pink. "He knew what I would do, yet he went through with it."
"Sab…"
"Please, don't tell anyone! If you do-" He faltered, realising that I knew exactly what he was going to say. I smiled at him.
"C'mon, lets go cycling."
He nodded.

Sab's mum went into his room. She was getting homework for him, that he had forgotten that morning. She went to his desk and routed through the papers, grabbed the homework and turned to leave, but something caught her eye. She pulled a sheet out from under some books and gasped. It had train times, and dates on it. One had a red circle drawn round it. This was the train that hit James, this was the proof that his death was no accident.

"Stupid mum, saying she would bring my homework, now I have an after school detention." He was sulking. Not an unusual sight when you're mates with Sabby.
"It ain't so bad, I didn't even do it" I assured him. He stuck his tongue out at me and ran home.

When he got home he asked politely,
"Mum, what happened about the homework?"
She looked up at him and grinned. Sab backed away slowly, he had noticed the sheet of paper in his mothers hands.
"Oh…" Was all he could get out.

At twenty four minutes past nine, that night, Sabrica's mum stopped breathing. She had overdosed on sleeping pills. He stared at her in the hospital.
"I will give you some time alone, ok?" The nurse wandered out.
Sab looked at his mother again. "I told you, don't go through my stuff, or I'd kill you!"

"YOU DID WHAT????" I couldn't believe it, what was up with him?
"I'm sorry, it was in the heat of the moment, she had found out what I did" He was hysterical.
"I don't know whether I should even be friends with you anymore… I won't tell though. I promise.
"No! I need you, please…"
"What if more people find out what you did?" I was uneasy, this was conspiracy, meaning I was in the wrong too.
"They wont, I promise, I'll stop, please, just don't leave me!" He wrapped his arms round me, tight, wiping his eyes on my shirt. Now how, may I ask you, can you say no to this? His bright eyes staring up at me, pale blue, maybe purple. I lightly kissed his forehead, blushing slightly. He smiled at me.
"I wont ever leave you. I promise." I assured him.

BANG!
I woke with a start, that sounded like a gunshot!
I was still at Sabrica's house, his bed, so soft, I fell asleep so quickly. I pushed myself up, swaying slightly, then set off to his living room. When I got there, Sab was in a corner, shaking and crying, his dad was on the floor opposite him, blood splattered up the wall behind him. I tried to speak, the words wouldn't come out. Had he killed his dad too? His eyes shot over to me, I couldn't see any colour in them, they just seemed, empty.
"I didn't do anything, I swear" he gasped, spluttering as tears ran into his mouth, "he was gonna kill me, then he just held the gun to his mouth and…" He trailed off.
"It's ok" I assured him, even though we both knew everything was far from ok.

I called the police and they checked the house, sorted out the situation and gave Sab a choice. Either, go to a foster home, or, because he's sixteen, he could stay at the house but would have limited spending money from what his parents had, if he wanted more, he must find work. He chose the second option, he loved this house and couldn't bear losing it, plus, if he did go to somewhere else, all his parents money would go to his new family to do as they wish with. He might never see it again. Sabby couldn't bear that either. He smiled slightly, it wasn't a cheerful smile, it was an evil one. The kind you get before a bully takes something from you. I looked away. This wasn't right. This was terrible. He has now killed his whole family, and his boyfriend. Would he kill again? Who would it be?
"Sabby?" I murmured without looking up.
"Yup?" He replied, a bit too cheerfully.
"How can you still go on like this? You just directly and indirectly killed your whole family, how can you stand there smiling about your stupid house!?!"
He stood for a moment, staring at me, then turned on his heel and left me.
I simply went home.

This is excellent. And a bit weird. I have one criticism: In the line, "'YOU DID WHAT????' I couldn't believe it; what was up with him?" It seems a little casual to say "what was up with him?" when he'd just killed a bunch of people.

No worries. Honestly, I am pedantic and noticed weird things that bug me an inordinate amount, but that was the only thing about yours that bothered me, which is unusual for stuff posted on dA. It's a really interesting story. Do you plan to do more with the characters and Sabby's color issue?
