Description
This was one of nine Pokemon that I commissioned Adam Fegarido to improve (basically, my concepts and original drawings re-done in his awesome style whilst I myself try to achieve his level of art). This Pokemon is based upon turtles, shells, shields and loosely on magic.------------------------------------
Basic Stage: Shellield
Type: Water/Steel
Abilities: Torrent/Swift Swim/Unbreakable(HA)*
Dex Number: #025(Triskillion Dex) / #007(Criatos Island Dex)
Name Origin: Shell (as in turtle shells) + shield = Shellield
Long ago, a mighty sorcerer was shipwrecked in a storm - a group of Shellield were passing by and helped the sorcerer to shore. In debt to the Pokemon, he enchanted their bodies, giving them and their future off-springs the blessing of steel shells and enchanted flippers that allow the Pokemon to move in water and on land without difficulty. It is a puzzlement to scientists who are determined not to believe in fairy-tales.
