It's been a while in the making now, finally found the bases/motivation and did a bit more to it.Technically, it's finished, though I would like to eventually go back and do the entire sequence and perhaps animate the background.
The Mighty Morphing Power Rangers, if you don't know already, was a popular kids show in the early nineties that I've always loved. This is the morph sequence of the original power rangers, before they completely sold out.
I used this video as a reference for the emote, and yes, I purposefully left out the hair.

It is kinda sad that I am old enough to remember almost every incarnation that this show had....including the very first...awesome image. It is very win!

I stopped watching shortly after Lost in Space started, something about magical swords giving people superpowers was a bit... give me a break-y. Also the dome ship was clearly a rip of of K. A. Applegate's Andalite space ships. I think it was upon realizing these things that I became too old to watch kids shows anymore. Of course now, almost a decade later, I love kids shows because they bring back so many forgotten things.

It is all so true!!!! I sort of miss the bad special effects and worse acting (lol) I also find it kind of sad that kids today will never get to see it aired on saturdays like we did...oh well....
