Welp...2022 is in the books and personally I had a pretty good year. I got a promotion at work, my wife and I moved into a bigger apartment, and best of all my daughter was born!!! Artistically, I didn't make any major advancement as I hoped to with getting back to focusing on featuring my OCs in stories and creating something more concrete rather than the typical carousel of pinups where I jump from OC to OC depending on my feelings at the time. I did create a few short comic-ky series and stories; the 35-page "From Bad To Worse" being the one that I was most proud of. I got the most commission work that I've ever gotten! And I did enjoy starting the year off with the 31-Day OC Portrait series. But other than that, it's been more of the same ol'-same ol' as the story ideas just don't flow like they used to.

I even started working on a script for a comic starring Hotspur...I made it to like 16 pages or so and haven't really gone back to it since; granted this was around the time where my daughter was born and things were quite hectic for a while. (Hell...they still are at times and she's 7 mos. old at the time of posting this!) But I was prepared to hand the ball to Hotspur to run as my top OC for a while. It's not too late for that to happen...I have created quite a few images in 2021 where Hotspur was featured, including the very first image that I posted on Jan 1. As of right now, she's still one of my own favorites and is highly likely to continue to be one of my main muses in 2022.

, so it's only right that I end 2021 with her. She's been tasked with next challenging mission, and her normal costume isn't gonna cut it this time...she's gonna need her heavy-duty cybernetic armor! (First featured here ) She's on her way to get suited and booted from neck to toe before embarking on her next quest! (Note that she's wearing the same bodysuit that Tank wore here )

So consider this my New Year offering...Happy New Year and here's hoping that 2022 will be one of our best years yet!!!
