Description
Making comics is fun but it takes a lot of time. Here we have everbody's favourite cowgirl with the world's best fashionista.Such an unlikely friendship, really
...but I guess that's the magic behind it all.

It is kind of strange that ponies have so many items that seem to have fingers (or, in this case, toes) in mind. Then again, there are other creatures like diamond dogs, gryphons, and baby dragons that would benefit from such items. Even if pony boots do have a ridiculously small toe space (unlike in this comic), it could be a stylistic choice to mimic the appearance of boots designed for creatures with actual toes, and the same could go for other pony apparel and items.
Probably the most hilarious case of this I've seen is Pinkie with surgical gloves on all four hooves from Rainbow Dash Presents: Cupcakes (which somehow manages to turn Cupcakes into a lightdark non-graphic comedy, otherwise I don't touch Cupcakes related things with a 10-foot pole).

I read once that it was so non-unicorns could get them off without using their teeth. They just step on the "toe" and pull their hoof out.

I've always wondered why they have toe space, too. But in their defense, the toe space is actually hilariously small (compared to the more proportionate boots shown in this comic) and no creature with toes could make use of them. Maybe it's a stylistic choice or it has some hidden practicality that ponies benefit from?
