Description
The Magazine is a unique rotary helical type mechanism. ARM stands for Automatic Reloading Mechanism. its takes aprox. .5 seconds to switch magazines. it uses 7.62 rounds. sorry for the boring description, i wrote a longer one but deleted it (grrr...) Please comment.Related content

It's an older concept i made that is now impractical i see but basically the magazine (four tubes as a whole) rotate to drop a magazine and to reload the magazine easily, a drum mag would be much simpler and probably less time consuming.

It's a nice idea, but that pod of magazines looks complicated to set up. And, I'm assuming that the NATO rounds have to make a 90-degree turn as they exit the mags? Seems like it would be at high risk of jamming.
I get the desire for a large supply of ammo, but I've come to terms with accuracy being more valuable than sheer volume. But not without first coming up with some ludicrous ideas of my own, like a magazine-fed Gatling gun , and a supposedly one-man coil launcher that fired 5mm rounds from a clip twice the size of Oscar the Grouch's garbage can, which was such a size so as to accommodate a minimum of 1 million individual rounds [link]

but yea i'm less fond of the rotating magazine than i used to be.
There is another setup that only allows one magazine as its clip instead of 4 and it looks much cooler.

Still though, this is a very slick-looking design. If this rifle were to ever exist, they'd probably use this illustration on the cleaning & care manual.

Lol thanks, you should really check out my other designs, i make my really good PMG designs into 3D sometimes. You'd like this one because it has an even more unique firing mechanism than the achenor method [link]

It's an LMG so it's normal to be heavy, however the concept allows it to have a single clip in to be more like an AR.

It's an interesting design. The shoulder stock looks a little cluttered though. (I'm guessing it comes apart to make maintenance easier some how)

yea i tend to clutter things on that program, the design if it were real would be quite complex and unfortunately not very maintenance friendly, still durable though.

about as heavy as an LMG, maybe heavier, the convenient thing is that if you want to make it lighter by taking off the A.R.M. you can put just one mag on and use it sort of as an AR while storing the larger drum mag on your backpack or anywhere else.
