Small Anecdote: While I was redoing this GIF, I realized that the brochure Satoshi/Ash is reading is just comprised of backdrops used in the episode and then, for whatever reason, the alphabet. Yes, that indeed is the alphabet; those are all 26 letters. I don't know if this is like a universal alphabet that's been used throughout the entirety of the series, I just know that things characters have read on signs and books and such are in characters/lettering that are neither Japanese characters nor the roman alphabet --not even the "Unknown" (as in the POKEMON Unknown) alphabet. I just find it funny seeing Ash casually brushing up on his ABC's from a fake vacation brochure (it was technically fake due to the plot of this episode).

So I have a bit of a problem... I cannot find any MKV video files of the gen 5 anime. Well, except for THIS episode. I HAVE found earlier episodes of the Japanese version, the problem is that the subtitles are embedded in the video file itself and thus appear as apart of the video footage. In other words, captions will obstruct some of the frames and I don't want them to take away from the GIFs I make. Does anybody know of any sources that have OPTIONAL or NO captions? I'll even settle for the English dub, so long as it's not something basic as saving a video from Kissanime because those do NOT provide the highest quality footage; I need like a ripped file. Any and all help is gratefully appreciated!

Edit: NO LOGO! YAY! On a side note, it completely slipped my mind on why the gen 5 anime was referred to as "Best Wishes." Then I realized if you shortened "best wishes" to "BW," it can also be interpreted as "Black and White." It's so hard to find good rips of this series. Really, it's hard to find ANY rips that are not either Sun and Moon or most of the later half of XY. So many torrents are dead and the quality of the existing ones are kinda shabby upon closer inspection. Please do let me know if anyone knows a source of gen 5 anime that has NO watermarks, 720p x264 quality, and NO hard-coded/embedded subtitles. Thanks! Also if you are still reading this, more GIFs of Iris to come!
