Wow, this is just beautiful! I love how the composition grabs you and pulls you toward the center; you almost have to work your way out to the edges of the painting. The eyelashes and the rays of sunlight work beautifully together.
My only critique would be that the iris/pupil area seems almost "cut and paste" and it could (imo) use a touch more definition between the upper lid and the sclera.
Anyway, brilliant work!

Ok so you requested a critique...here I go.
The things I dislike:
I think the first thing that jumps to my notice is how you have placed everything equal distance to each other in the picture. If this is deliberate, ignore any further reading, if it isnt continue on..
I feel as if i am looking at an equidistant cross in the middle of the page and this lends its self to a very boring composition.
There is a lack of value distribution in the skin and eye its self compared to the lighting on the scenery in the eye and makes it look like two seperate pictures cropped and pasted together rather than a cohesive painting.
The things I do like:
I like the level of realism with the piece in oil, which is hard to achieve, at first i thought i was looking at a photo manipulation
The things you could improve on:
The composition, or the cropping of the final piece.
The bright light in the middle of the eye detracts from the eye its self and the beautiful work in the trees and background you placed into the eye.
