A continuation of this particular idea I had where if you only kill Undyne in a neutral run, Mad Dummy becomes the "leader" of the monsters to avenge her death. (And this actually took me less than 2 days to make. Woo!)
Something to keep in mind is that, in my universe of Undertale, Mad Dummy and Undyne didn’t necessarily become “friends” until reaching the surface, so their relationship underground wasn’t the greatest. Mad Dummy was in very bad shape when he had met Undyne; he only agreed to be her punching bag because he felt he deserved the abuse, and he constantly disregarded, pushed away, or shot his mouth off over any of her attempts to be nice to him, truly believing he wasn’t worth the effort.

And then...it wasn’t until after Undyne was gone that Mad began to realize just how much of a jerk he actually was to her.

(A fanfic of this is currently in the works, so I'll be sure to post the link whenever I get anything finished. Also, quite a bit of inspiration for this scene came from Wheatley's final quote in Portal 2.)

A genocide version of this idea was made a while back.
