Description
In the grass on a spring dayA sudden shower
falls blonde around meβ
a tickle, on my face
my neck, my chest
reaches up to the bluest
of skies, heaving in desire
to be soaked in strands
that hang like moments
caught beneath you.

As a connaisseur/collector of the most excellent love poems, I find this one irresistable. I wish I could offer something by way of critique, but it's already perfect.

Why thank you, I'm glad you liked this poem so well. I have to confess though, its not all me, its mostly my wonderful inspiration, witch is the love of my life!

Ah yes, we romantic poets must give proper credit to our muses, but isn't that why we write love poems, to praise and thank them for the ways their presence blesses and inspires us?
Our muses don't write, and neither does the love we bear for them. Writing is a joy, but it is also work, and when done well it should be recognized. So take your bow, be proud of your talent and your labor of love, and pass along my compliments to your lovely (and lucky) lady.

Ok fair enough thank you for your kind words, I do appreciate them in the utmost. I will pass them along for sure and she's not only my inspiration, she is the one that has and still does encourage me to write. So I owe her all I have written and I swear to that.

Oh no, she's used to me writing poetry about her, so that doesn't really do it, however, the way she tells it, she needs no excuse!
