i do a lot of figures who's arms become a puppet that is interacting with them.
i've got about 20 pieces in the kilns right now and 4-5 of them are that style (w/puppets i mean)- i'll post some images before i take them to galleries.

yeah, your work is amazing!! hehe i think i might actually use you for my art class. i've been wanting to get back into ceramics for quite some time. see, when we do pieces, we have to find artists that relate to our theme or technique (among a list of other criteria). not only do your pieces inspire me, but your heroism project is a perfect example of what my art class demands. they want pieces built upon social/cultural issues, related and centered around a kind of theme. so, if you dont mind, i'd like to write up your whole heriosm/superman idea/philosophy and use it as ispiration for my own work/ideas. your project is A LOT more interesting than what my teacher is making us look at... this lady who collects banana skins in south american somewhere and dries them and sticks them on canvas... its a project on the economic, social and cultural value of the banana in that country... sounds kinda funny actually, but the pieces are dreadful (or at least i think so). your pieces are a lot more inspired and fun! anyway, thanks for the idea! again, your stuff is incredible.

i'm glad that my work could be helpful to another artist.
sounds like the art class is a pretty good one- as far as requiring you to work within a structure. Ironically it is usually much harder to learn when you are allowed to just do anything you like.
Feel free to use anything of mine that you wish to.
