Description
Inspired by Rose's zelda fan fictions, Return and Reconciliation. The blurb is something that I wrote, and is no way Rose's writing. It's just me speculating on certain events that are hinted at in the sequel.

Also: As a frame of reference, Anduriel is does not exactly have any form of gender. In the story, Link regards her as a she and Sahars-whatever refers to Anduriel as a he at some point. It's genderless, so I tried to make it... speculative. Very androgynous. You may continue with your regular scheduled programming.

For all of Anduriel's immortality and knowledge, she was constantly surprised by the actions of mortals; their reasons for these proceedings behind so many emotions and morals. Though the guardian certainly was not devoid of feeling, Anduriel could only stare in bafflement at the bundle of a man who had fallen into the arms of the immortal, blood pouring out of the fatal blow that the enemy of the Goddesses had given him.
He did not seem shocked - he actually looked rather pleased. And it was this expression that made Anduriel look down with confusion. Such confusion.
"Why?" The guardian said slowly and with a hushed tone, settling the hero's body into her hands. They were now becoming red with blood, even some of the ethereal garment that Aunduriel wore was stained with it - a testament to his actions.
His eyes fluttered open, mouth opening and closing in an attempt to answer the guardian. Despite the obvious pain there, he merely seemed annoyed he could not speak when he wanted to. But, he eventually found the strength and the words to reply, "I-it... it was right. I... I had to... I-it wasn't... wasn't hard to choose."
Anduriel shook her head - what logic was that? Surely there was more reason then pure intuition? There had to be another choice... one that involved his survival. But it was much too late to speculate.
After his response, a cough seized him which prevented him speaking further. So much pain in his eyes...
"W-we... we won, right?" He asked quietly. The question took Anduriel off guard for a moment, but steadied as she placed a firm hand on his chest. The sorrow was hard to hide from her voice.
"Yes. Yes we won. We were successful. It is done."
"That's good..." he said, "Glad this... this wasn't a... a total loss."
It was meant as a good hearted comment, but Anduriel could not take it as such. He was dying and he didn't seem to care. Under her palm the Guardian could feel the lowering tempo of his heart. He would last a minute at most.
She broke the gaze to raise her head to the others that remained standing and found Sahasrahla, finding tears coming down her cheeks. Sahasrahla... he barely seemed like he could walk. But despite himself, he walked closer to his dying son. Apparently the boy could see his father, and with a shaky hand, he reached out to him.
Saharsrahla wasted no time in grabbing it before it fell to the ground again. At his touch, the hero smiled. At least his father was here to see him pass on.
But it really wasn't that much better.
