Good grief! Where have I been? I suddenly saw your gallery and wondered why was it that I hadn't seen all of these! *cough* I beg your pardon.

Anyway, about the picture, I love the details in this picture, all the designs and colorful clothing caught my eye. Very lovely!

Thank you kindly for this nice comment, and for your attention to its details. The picture has been submitted last June, and I still haven't scanned it, like some of my other earlier submissions.

You are most welcome! Do you have a scanner working now or no?

My scanner's working, I've only to find some time to use it, I have so much work to do lately!

I ADORE the clothing.. especially Turins <3
And you have a superb use of colour.. vibrant, but not too vibrant, it's perfect

Thank you so much!

I'm interested in costume history and have read many books on this subject, but I think that clothes on my drawings look rather conventional (some have called them "Modern style Middle Age"). And I have a habit of sticking to one costume for one character (as distinctive mark).

As to colors, this is not a scan, so they look a bit different than the real ones.I have chosen purple, lilac and black for Turin not knowing that these are considered as colors of destiny or doom ( learned it much later, from an interview with costume designers of LOTR films).

Can't say I'm an expert on clothing myself, but what you've drawn is almost exactly how I imagined elvish clothing to look like.
And i can't add much more to thoughts on the colour.. .you should be proud, scan or not ^^
