OMG! Got a Wacom Graphire 4, absolute score!Timon catches a butterfly but just can't bring himself to eat such a pretty thing, so he lets it go.
So yeah finally finished this. However because I've lacked a tablet I've kinda forgotten how to do backgrounds which I was just starting to get good at when my tablet conked out. So yeah it kinda wrecked it. Especially the wind and sky. Ah well.

The colouring and the chosen colours are absolutely gorgeous! ^^ You draw Timon so well, he's really cute. And the way his colours are muted to fit with the sunset/sunrise...and I love the visible breeze carrying the leaves and the butterfly with it! Lovely.

An absolutely beautiful piece that caught my eye at first sight. Although the colours may appear rather dark at first, a warmth is given off leaving the viewer with the thought that there is more than meets the eye to this little meerkat, especially when it comes to his stomach. I enjoyed this picture from the moment I first saw it (unfinished) and now even more as a finished project. Superb stuff.
Also, would it be alright with you if I set this as my desktop?
