Thanks hurzdischnurz! I've not played the game yet... not enough hours in the day!LOL! Its supersculpey with fimo mixed in. I've not done this sort of thing before but i'm planning on using styrene for the gun.

i did some guns so far. what i did was printing out the scaled size on paper. then i cut a piece of sculpey in the desired thickness. putting the printout on the sculpey piece. cutting straight from above the clay away outside. then hardening the sculpey. filing, sanding, drilling the details in. small details i did on with sculpey, though epoxy clay is better for this, as sculpey dont sticks so well in tiny amounts.
the idea of using styrene is good too, just u cant heat it then as u sure know, and the lines between the different layers will be visible.
here a link to my aks-74u, i think my best gun, scale 1/6: [link]
just u dont wonder, i wanted to do some little how-to on clay weapons once. but there was no interest from the people. so i use now every chance to help people with this

Thanks hurzdischnurz, i did the gun as you described but used Milliput as the base which sets like rock then superglued all the styrene parts to it. Great aks-74u!!!
Thanks again!

glad to have helped.
ur tactics with glueing should work very well too, with mainly square shaped parts.
thx too, greetings

I'm loving all the detail you did on the face. If you don't mind me asking, how long did this take you?

Thanks NinjaSniperKitty! It's taken a couple of weeks on and off to get it to this stage, that includes making the armature.
