#20 in my Jellicle Horses series."Are You Tense When You Sense There's a Storm in the Air?"
Since Coricopat and Tantomile aren't regular cats, I decided they shouldn't be just regular horses either. So I made them unicorns instead

These are pictures of the characters from the Video production of the musical play "CATS" in the form of horses.
Done with sharpies and colored pencils. The glowies around the horns were done on GIMP.

I'm curious, in normal cat form (the human cat form is okay, but I prefer them as natural felines mainly) what do you think their colors are? They look...almost like torbies. I only ever saw the video so that is mainly the one I get interested in when it comes to colors and such, because the video costumes look very nice...but it seems like they are colors that...are hard to portray in kitty form.

Do you have Facebook? I made some graphics on what all the cats would look like as actual cats by using photos of actual cats that look creepily like the jellicle cats. It's in an album on my Facebook profile. I think it's something you'd enjoy. It's entitled "REAL CATS".

I don't have a facebook account myself, but I didn't know that. I mean I know your Facebook for your wolfdogs, but can you give me a link (and as long as you don't have it as friends only), but that would be nice to see. I stared making some of my own assumptions really on possible colors.

Did you do some for your own Jellicle OCS? Is Tova's cat-dancer costume fluffy? I been studying the costumes from the movie and I noticed some of them look fluffy like Jemima (who I love) and Electra (I also love)...but how did you figure out how to do Tova's design since her mother is a sleek cat (I considered her an Abyssinian cross since she is that but also something else...blending seems better) and fluffy Mr. Mistro.

No, I never did real-life cat version of my OCs. Tova is mostly smooth-coated like her mom, but with some arm and leg fluff like her dad.Β

That is actually how I was envisioning her just now. Mainly sleek with some fluffiness, I really want to draw her someday in cat form since that is my better cup of tea.

My Paradise Wolves account is a public page, not a profile. I think Pages, Groups and Private Profiles have different settings regarding non-members viewing them.

Oh...it would had been nice to see them...do you have a photobucket? That can be easier to use and if you want it somewhat private but still open then you can try password mode.

Oh if you can that would be wonderful. It would be nice to see how they might look on a real cat, though I did see somebody do a small thing for Rumpleteazer. I like these guys in human-dancer form, but I love cat version more, it just seems to fit, more natural.

Here they are. I matched these real cats to the movie ones because of varying factors; facial expression, coat pattern, etc...the real cats may be of different gender (and in two cases, different sub species) of the ones they are portraying in the film. I chose them because it just seemed right.
