i use photoshop to edit my pics, and not really just with specific tools i use lots of adjustment layers and mix them until i get an effect i like
usually i edit colour curves and use sharpening (high pass particularly) and just mess around with stuff, and use different ways of layering
i find a good thing to do is download photoshop actions and find effects you like, and then try to figure out what was done to get them

Glad to hear you use PS also. I like the colors that you play with in your photography. That's one thing I've had trouble with is keeping a constant effect with photosets! I will need to try this. Thanks!
