I really like your work but i don't know how you get all your pixels to render like this, i'm new to this so it may sound silly but do you have advice on how to fix it.

...but which program do u use for rendering? Poser? DAZ studio? It's not easy to find out why your renderings are pixelated...
I use the octane-plugin for rendering but those plugings are about 199 up to 299 USD each. I guess you can get good results in Poser with that firefly renderer also but I don't use it any more so I can't give you any hints how to use it. If you use DAZ u can use the IRay renderer which is also very good...
Maybe you should ask your questions on renderosity in the forums? Maybe they can halp you better...

Ich hatte eigentlich vor, einen G3-Charakter mit sehr schwarzer Hautfarbe zu nehmen - hab ich aber (noch) nicht.

Nun habe ich ja mittlerweile auch eine von DAZ für G3.
Allerdings kommt die nicht so gut in Octane; ich muss da erst mal an den skin-settings schrauben.

Von DAZ gabs zu dem Zeitpunkt noch keine.
Ich nutz zwar momentan nur iray, aber ich hab die Vermutung,
dass die ganzen skinshader immernoch mit 3Delight im Hinterkopf erstellt werden.
Viel zu dunkle spec maps etc. Zumindest wenn du sie mit iray verwenden willst.
Mit Octane hab ich keine Erfahrung - hab ich nicht.

Ich werd's in der nächsten Zeit mal ausprobieren.
Octane nutzt ohnehin (in der Einstellung, die ich verwende) keine SpecMaps und generische SSS-Maps für die Haut bei G2 und G3. Ich denke, es liegt daran...
Und Reality hab ich zwar auch, aber das Rendern damit ist so dermaßen laaaangsam, dass ich#s gar nicht verwende.
Das Octane-Plugin ist übrigens immer noch im Beta-Stadium und hat eine ganze Menge Bugs; Bei Otoy kümmert man sich aber im Moment nur um andere Projekte, die da laufen.

Oh ja, das mit Reality kenn ich zu gut
Die Ergebnisse welche man damit erziehlen kann sind super, nur Luxrender 1.31 ist sooo langsam.
Bin gespannt was nun Lux 1.5, da es nun ja veröffentlicht wurde, in Zusammenarbeit mit Reality 4.1 bringt.
Paolo hat für diese Woche eine Ankündigung in Aussicht gestellt, aber ich nehm mal an dass du das schon mitbekommen hast.
