Description
Two drake Black Scoters landing in the water. The waves were rough so the Scoters were in close to the jetty. They would constantly fly nearby, float off shore and repeat.Barnegat Light, New Jersey

It was nice seeing you and Renee at Barnegat. We did go up to see the scoters a little latter in the day. It was hilarious watching them land, especially the Black Scoters.

That was crazy that we bumped into each other. I hope you got some great photos from that day - I'm sure a lower angle would make them look 100 times better. The Scoters were VERY fun to watch!

Super shot - wonderfully timed! You really nailed the focus too, andΒ with enough shutter speed to freeze the wing feathers. Well done!
