One question: the bird has that INTENSE red color in its head in real life or...?

Their reds can be very intense. I have many photos of this bird where it looks like I saturated the reds, but I tend to stay away from doing that. This also happens with my bright orange Orioles - the color is just so intense on the bird!!!
