Okay, clearly you don't get that there's a reason I'm bugging you about those pictures in your gallery being stolen. Raise your hand if someone has said one of the following to you. :b"But I credited them!"
Yeah. Okay. So, even though you didn't ask for the original artist's permission, just going ahead and saying "X made this, not me!" automatically makes it OKAY. Gotcha.

The childishness and complete disregard to what I've been explaining is starting to make ME want to bawwwwI'm not telling you about it just to be an asshole, I'm doing it because you're going against dA policy, and because taking your favorite artist's work or a screenshot from an anime and saying, "look they did such a good job, this is my fave!! ^_^", is not so much flattering as it is insulting.

I've had some of my pieces taken and recolored before and it pissed me off!
Including a character that is my friend's but I draw for him.
He and I were mad when someone told us that we got HIS character wrong
and then they had to nerve to take the piece that I did and recolored it saying that it was their character
and how the character should be.

True words. It reminds me of this one girl, some "works" in her gallery are actually fanarts taken without permission from other artists but edited in some sort of way to make banners and such.
I (and others) called her out for this and she only responded things such as "I give a crap, I do what I want" or "If DA suspends my account, I'll make another one and do the same!"

I know right? She speaks Spanish and isn't very fluent with English (she ends up misunderstanding a lot of things). I'm also fluent in Spanish, so I tried to talk to her in that language and I can tell you with all security that she was not only annoying, but very knot-headed. She also has this silly idea that every single user that reports her is only butthurt because she's part of the anti-hetalia group (?).

I've actually never been told any of those three things (which I think is odd), but something more worthy of a facepalm happened to me. I reported a deviation and left a comment on it saying that you can't post recolored screncaps or copyrighted images on dA. Three days later I got this reply: "Can I still post it if I use it for my background?"
I said no and dA removed it the next day.

I have a friend here on dA who had a ton of her art stolen and used on a freewebs website.
I went in and told the guy to take it down and report it, and his response was "This site's rules are that if I edit the picture I can call it mine so HA"
So I went back to see how much he really did edit, and all he did was slap a logo on the art.... Does not count last I checked XD
