Amazing work. By now I'm sure you've noticed you've been Dugg, but as a follower of fractal art for some time...I still wonder: How do you go about starting a project like this? Everything I've tried my hand at has been comparatively awful. Any tips?

To be honest, I only started using Apophysis 3D only 5 or 6 months ago. I started just rendering randomly generated fractals then I started to familiarize myself with the various variations and how they behave and interact, looked at a couple of tutorials and refined my knowledge, experimented with some techniques of my own. I know that's not a whole lot to go on, but I do suggest you take a look at some of the many wonderful tutorials here on DA (click [link] ) for starters.
