Peridot when she first meets Ben just kind of brushes him off as “just another squishy human”. But then he shows off the Omnitrix and all it’s power she gets VERY wear, don’t worry, Ben manages to calm her down. She is intrigued by the Omnitrix and how powerful this DNA altering device is.
Jasper and Ben do NOT get along (whether she gets redeemed or not). She is a Quartz soldier of the powerful intergalactic Gempire, there is no way that this puny human child has anything she can’t handle. Then she proceeds to get beaten by Four Arms, Humungousaur, Rath, you get the picture. So she challenges him as a gem, but even then he’s managed to best her.
