For some reason, I've been finding myself drawing more and more Helluva Boss fanart based on a few what-if scenarios for the show in my head. This time around, here's a digital illustration featuring both Stolas (right) and his overbearing father Paimon (left) akin to Kazuya and Heihachi Mishima as they appear in the boxart for Tekken 7. The title "Fated Retribution" comes from the arcade update of said game.

For those of you who haven't watched the show yet, Stolas is the Prince of Hell and a key benefactor to the small group of impish assassins known as the I.M.P. (Immediate Murder Professionals). As a child, he was betrothed against his will by his father to Stella, a rather nasty noble whom would later become the mother of his only daughter Octavia. At the same time, he became childhood friends with Blitzø, the protagonist of the show who, at the time, was a struggling circus performer. Upon reaching adulthood, Stolas' marriage with Stella was at breaking point and him cheating on her with Blitzø was the last nail in the coffin. Thus, Stella secretly hired a lone impish assassin named Striker to put him down in vengeful retaliation.

As of now, Stolas still lives and neither Stella nor Striker have killed him. But, in the event that Stolas outlives both Stella and Striker, I'd love to see him stand up to his father Paimon who started this mess in the first place. Better yet, I'd love to see both Stolas and Paimon fight each other to the death, Mishima-style. But that's just me. There's no guarantee that this little fantasy of mine will become canon.
