everyday I run into people whose lives have been shaped by hardship.just like when the sculptor takes chisel to marble.
it is our job to decide if we crack or not.

Life is full of hardship, sometimes one right after another. Some people never see an end to their hardship. When that happens how can they triumph? How do they know God is with them, and not just watching. As I take command soon of some very brave men and women, I know I'll be facing danger and hardship constantly. My whole life seems just an uphill struggle. Thus my mentallity is a bit skewed probably. But I'd like an answer... When will it end, when will I feel like God is with me, instead of always watching?

we aren't always with god.
hardship turns us to god.
faith in god brings about hope. hope brings love for our fellow men and women.
it seems to me that the men and women you lead are lucky to have someone that loves them here on earth, even if it seems like god is so far away.

this is so true ...
when a thing becomes too unbearable to deal with
we may shed a tear or two
but I also believe no burden so heavy that
we can't carry ... it will make us learn to be strong
He will help us to make it through ... just don't give up ^^
