Description
This is an assignment for my illustration class. We were supposed to take our least favorite creature and our most favorite creature and create an evolutionary tree of one transforming to the other. I got permission to use mythological creatures and got it okayed to make it look like a spell in a spell book, so this is what I did for it.

I chose a naga because I couldn't figure out what my least favorite creature was and I thought it would be interesting to turn it into a phoenix.

I kept making mistakes with the runes, I haven't written in it in awhile and I didn't sketch it out first, just went with the calligraphy pen straight to the paper XD
