Description I just got this very good book called Arkham Asylum: Living hell.
I've always had this very clear image of Jonathan in my mind, looking this way with an icy glare.
This one panel were Jonathan is asking Warren White to scream for him before stabbing him with a fork sort of "inspired" this.

Jonathan reminds me of that song:

"No one knows what it's like,

this is amazing! and "behind blue eyes" is the song i've always thought fits him too. lol i just love the fact that he stabbed white with a fork...it's just...he was bored....

You're welcome! Haha, nah I envision him pretty similarly--scrawny, glasses, dangerously sharp cheekbones... Don't let mixed fan preferences worry you though. Seems pretty clear to me you've paid respect to his canon depictions (which vary a fair amount anyway). Not like you've released a blond, musclebound Crane onto the internet.

God, i hate it whn people draw him that way. It must be thoat stupid Christopher Nolan's fault...


Oh well, at least people are still aware of what he 's suposed to look like.

No prob! Granted, I am a pretty big Nolan fan myself (among other versions)...but not of the "OMG SEXAY CILLYKINZ IS JUST MISUNDASTOOOOOD" variety. Mr. Murphy may be an attractive man, but he is also slim (not pumping iron at the gym night after night) and slightly androgynous (could've been a source of teasing growing up as a socially awkward nerd in Arlen, keeping the background) while acting very icy and apathetic towards others as Crane. Making him crazy muscly though suggests he's actually working out on a regular basis. Hilarious as the mental image of Spooky attempting exercise might be, somehow I can't see him going for that lol. I really don't understand why some fangirls try to buff him up and water him down. It's not like there's any shortage of depraved, tragic loons in Gotham. Or fiction in general. And Crane's scrawny self is great just as he is.
