yay!!!! I never thought it would turn out how I wished it to do.X3 It took me annying 16 hours work! ^-^ but I am very happy... there will be prints of this too <3

BTW: This picture goes to the only person in my life, that actually helped me to get here: Todd Lockwood.
I know, you might say he hasn't done anything. But he has. he drew all those dragons and pictures that always inspired me. Looking at his art, I always felt like drawing a dragon
and some of my best pices wouldn't be here if Todd weren't here 
He is my god. The only one I am looking up to this much.
I want to get as good as he is someday. But not by copy hi style.
Maybe I never will, maybe I do. I don't care. Drawing is my hobby. It's there to make me happy, not to get famous.
It's not about beeing the best... it's not even about beeing good.
Drawing makes me happy. And looking at other artists drawings too. And this is why I love art. it makes me happy.
So thanks Todd, thanks all you guys out there that kept me drawing dragons.

The amount of detail you put into this is unbelievable. The background has so many little things to look at, you could submit it as a deviation even without the dragon. Especially the tiny person far below the dragon's head.
As for the dragon itself... The only word I can use is 'breathtaking'. The feathers, claws and metal plates are all very beautiful and clear... I believe that every minute you spent creating this was worth it.

I like how the dragon looks "Mechy" yet mid-evil, thats pretty amazing, but one question, is that a person on the ground? Just the shadow of one it looks like.

...WHOA. I need a huge-ass poster of this!! The details on the dragon...holy crap, woman, where do you find the patience?? O___O;;; I really love how you have all that "empty" space, with the dragon looking down at the child. The fact that the ruins in the background are faded out, while the birds, dragon, child and foreground ruins are more solid give the whole picture a presence that I simply cannot describe in words. The best thing about this? You took a common, somewhat-cliched pose/theme/etc., and turned it into your very own, with amazing details and composition. I don't usually use so much strong language in comments (Ahaha... xD;;; ), but I just have to say: Damn good job on this.

Thats a lovely piece, I like the way you have used the muted grey and beige tones, it makes the piece look like the carnage after a great battle, with settling dust etc. Nice work
