*****A monster living on the ground of the deep oceans.
Sometimes, when it comes up for hunting wales, the nose might look out of the water a bit.
People misunderstand those as sharkfins.

Yes, I am aware that srufers never are that far out the open sea.
but I drew one to make the size of the monster more clear..this weeks theme is '75 tons' and I made a 75 ton creature. lol...
alltho the artists on CA are beyond my skills. WAY beyong... I just felt like submitting a COW too

I love pictures like these. They give me chills up my spine from thinking how scarry it must be to look down into the water and just barley see two eyes looking at you with this huge body behind them. Nice work I love this!

Instead of using a regular surf board, give the person a wind-surfing board (one of those surf boards with a sail that you hold on to) to help with what you mentioned on surfers not usually going that far out to sea. Just an idea, but this looks great either way

Actually there are a small group of surfers that go that far out the open sea, just for surfing the big waves formed on the storms. Just like riding gigante waves wasnt extreme enough, do it with one of that monsters in the water would be more then suicide.
Anyway i just love the creature, its just perfect executed. Love it!

The surfer is ok however, because why would he waste his/her time on such small prey? Now if that was a ship, we'd have trouble.
