*****A monster living on the ground of the deep oceans.
Sometimes, when it comes up for hunting wales, the nose might look out of the water a bit.
People misunderstand those as sharkfins.

Yes, I am aware that srufers never are that far out the open sea.
but I drew one to make the size of the monster more clear..this weeks theme is '75 tons' and I made a 75 ton creature. lol...
alltho the artists on CA are beyond my skills. WAY beyong... I just felt like submitting a COW too

But a very lovely idea, and the composition is played out very nicely... the only thing I wish I could see more of is the entire monster! XD But then the guy would be too small, this would be an awesome large painting.

The surfer guy looks pretty scared. Maybe I'm just imagining this, but that thing looks to be about the size of the Empire State Building (and probably more than 75 tons)! Ah well, I guess that means no swimming for awhile! Oh, and what are those little white lines on the face?

Great Barrier Reef, that's a big one!
Reminds me of the Leviathan creature in my Drawing Fantasy Beasts book (which is based off of the Biblical monster, not the Final Fantasy summon), except that one's described as being more than a mile long (maybe bigger) and able to support it's own eco-system.
