how do i use a mask? I just started using adobe. Not that good with it yet.

and I have PhotoShop 7 in English, the thing u use for the rain is Filter > Texture > Craquelure. I don't know if anyone else has said that, but just in case it moves some how in the other versions of PhotoShop.

thanks, but maybe todd is just drawing like a other other people too, all dragons have similkaritys to thoer peoples drawings, and there's acommon way of drawing everything
But thanks for the tips and stuff, I'm gonna start drawing soemthing, as soon as i find my notebook XD

hm. well I can say that Todd Lockwood uses a very unique style. And that most of the dragons in D&D are drawn by him.
So I am pretty much sure he's the only one with the 'real' style since I see many of his dragons in almost simular styles on dA and elswhere.

I googled his art, he had so many different looks , it doesnt seem very specific, I'm probably overlooking common features ion them but they all looked different to me

because many artworks that are ABOUT his work but not made by himself can be found too.

I draw dragons too, but I didn't had any idea about how to finish them.
well, I haven't got much uploaded yet (the main reason is that my pc is on strike (for the moment I'm posting from the library)) but I have a lot of nice drawings.

so cool. i tried your idea with the rough sketch. it didn't work out that well. it looked like a rat or lizard something. oh well what ever i gave it a shot. i think that maybe later on i will try something complicated like this. thanks for some pointers tho.

Interasting, but if you have the wings folded on the water draon to look like fins, then un flod to show wings that would also be good too. Right?

This tutorial helped me a lot. Right now I'm comparing techniques on drawing dragons, and the tips at the end were good. Nice and detailed, not vague and confusing. I must know:how long did this picture take?
