It should be something in the background, like some rocks or fishes. And of course the nipples.

I left the nipples, I don't know if I want her to have ones

A real mermaid has to have nipples! No, really she should have some. But if you don't like it then keep it this way.

You should at least have something in the backround to get som depth of field in the painting.

Maybe I'll reconsider the idea of niples, we'll see
