for god's sake, forget admiring the kid.
Homer's using enough force to pull the kid up to his height. with that force, a normal kid (which, let's admit, Bart is not. if he was, he'd be dead by now with how many fucking time his dad strangles him) would've had his neck broken.
i don't give a fuck what's your opinion on Bart Simpson. he may be a menace in your mind, he may be a saint in some people's, but he's just a ten year old kid! no kid deserves getting strangled like that, and that is not justified for any sort of misbehaviour. at worst, he'd deserve a spanking (or being grounded or something), that scene up there is not even corporal punishment, it's literally attempted murder.

Thanks a lot. Actually, the colouring is pretty cheap: just a semi-transparent layer with the flat colours. All the work was in the pencil shading.
